Protecting Nearby Property During Concrete Demolition

Concrete demolition creates vibration, dust, and equipment movement close to property lines. Here's how we handle it.

One of the most common concerns we hear from homeowners considering driveway replacement: 'I don't want to cause problems with my neighbor.' Here's exactly how we handle it.

Pre-Demo Walk

Before we start any demo, we walk the work zone perimeter and document existing conditions — particularly near fence lines, irrigation systems, and the neighbor's hardscaping. Photos go on file.

We Handle the Conversation

If demo work will require brief access to an adjacent property, or if equipment will be close to a shared fence, we talk to the neighbor directly before work starts. You shouldn't have to mediate between your contractor and your neighbor. That's on us.

If Something Gets Damaged

It happens on complex jobs. If a fence post shifts, an irrigation line gets nicked, or the neighbor's grass gets torn up, we fix it at our expense. This is in every contract we sign.
