From First Call to Final Walk

Our Concrete Project Process

Eight steps from first contact to final invoice. No surprises.

01

You Call or Submit a Request

Call (919) 478-1678 or submit a request through our contact form. We'll schedule a site visit within a few days — usually that week. No waiting weeks for someone to call you back.

02

Doug Walks Your Property

Doug comes to you. He walks the full area to be poured, measures everything, asks about your existing walkways and tie-in points, notes soil and drainage conditions, and asks about your timeline. This isn't a 5-minute driveby — it's a real conversation about your project.

03

You Get a Fixed Quote — Before He Leaves

Before Doug leaves your property, you have a written quote with one number on it. That number covers permits, materials, labor, cleanup, and finishing. There's no 'base price plus extras' structure — just a final number. You can ask questions, compare it to other quotes, or sign on the spot. No pressure.

04

We Handle Permits and Scheduling

Once you sign, we handle permits with your jurisdiction — City of Sanford, Lee County, Moore County, Wake County, wherever applies. We schedule your pour and give you a date. If HOA approval is required, we handle the documentation and submission. You don't babysit this.

05

Site Prep

Before the concrete truck arrives, we grade and prep the sub-base. This is where jobs fail or succeed. We compact properly, add aggregate where needed, install forms, set grades, and place reinforcement. On removal-replacement jobs, we demo and haul off the old concrete first. Site prep is treated as carefully as the pour itself.

06

The Pour

The concrete truck arrives and we pour, finish, and joint. The finish is done to the specification on your quote — broom, stamped, exposed aggregate, or smooth. Control joints are cut or tooled to spec. On stamped work, the color release and stamp are applied before initial set. The work is done on schedule.

07

Cleanup. Every Day.

At the end of every working day, the site is cleaned up. Slurry is not left in the side yard. Tools are staged. The street is swept. If we don't meet this standard, we pay for a professional cleaning service. It's in the contract.

08

Final Walk-Through

When the work is done, Doug walks the project with you. We review the finish, the tie-ins, the drainage slope, and anything else you want to look at. If something isn't right, it gets fixed before we consider the job complete. Then you pay what the quote said. Not a dollar more.

READY TO START?

Step one is the easiest — just call or submit a request. We take it from there.
